This virtual Rekenrek (or Arithmetic Rack) uses color-coded beads to help students anchor numbers to 5 and 10.
How to Use: Slide beads from right to left. Each row has 5 red and 5 white beads. Use the “Cover” tool to hide a portion of the rack for “How many are missing?” games.
Classroom Idea: Show a number like 7 by sliding 5 red beads and 2 white beads, reinforcing the “5 + n” structure.
